Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, but sometimes it’s mostly imagination.

Q. How long will it take to apply a decorative concrete makeover?

A. Depending on the job.  Usually a 100sqm job would be completed in 2-3 days. This is a lot faster and cheaper than having a new one put down!!

Q. How long will it take before we would be able to walk or use our newly finished surface?
A. Different surfaces and different weather make it difficult to give a definitive time. Usually, surfaces can tolerate walking within 2 hours and driving after 4 days of curing.

Q. How long can I expect my newly coated surface to keep looking great.
A. We would recommend recoatings between 5-7 yrs.

Q. How do we keep it clean and maintain?
A. We advise a clean and seal every 2 years to ensure the application is preserved from UV damage.

  • Do not apply solvent based cleaning products to the surface.
  • Use water based products only.
  • Do not apply acid or chemical products to the surface.
  • Do not drag heavy furniture across the surface.

Q. We live 30-40 Kms out of Melbourne CBD , do you come and service that far?
A. Yes we can, once we finalize the service and your need.

Q. What qualifications do you have? Are you registered or licensed?
A. In Victoria there are no requirements for concreters to be registered; in fact, there is no government body to register with.

Q. What styles of concrete are available to me?

A. There are 4 styles of concrete available. Any decorative concrete you’ve ever seen falls into one of these categories.

  1. Standard finish (with or without colour)
  2. Slate Paving
  3. Stencil Concrete
  4. Exposed aggregate

Q. I am not sure what I want, can you help me?

A. Absolutely. We offer free advice over the phone, or we can offer you a comprehensive design and consultation service.

Q. What are the costs involved?

A.This varies on what you are having done. Apart from full stencil jobs with borders and stencil patterns, there are taped patterns, and just plain blanket coats (one colour), so the price varies. There are also feature stencils like rosettes, and compass circles, your options are many. This can all be discussed with you. It really depends on the type of surface you require ie: spray pave, acid staining, type of stencil, type of top coat ie: epoxy, sealer. The price can range from $25.00 to $90.00 per sqm.
